Leadership Development Program
Dr. Jessica Pavlick, Psy.D.
Our main goal at Pivotal Play Soccer is to build confidence in our players. What better way to do that than to offer a leadership program. We have partnered with Dr. Jessica Pavlick (Churchill HS alumna and Varsity Soccer player) to offer a 6-week program before the Spring season. The program will outline essentials for effective leadership that players can apply to life, on the field, and in the classroom. The program will also discuss self-esteem in order to help players become better aware of their strengths and areas for growth. Increased awareness of personal skills and knowledge of effective problem solving skills will help players utilize and build upon their unique strengths. Additionally, players will better understand how their skills fit into being a part of a team. The aim of the program is to help players better know themselves and the essentials of successful leadership so they can reach optimum performance on and off the field. Increasing one’s self-esteem can help build confidence, increase resiliency, and better manage distraction.
